About Swanky Soiree VIII

Swanky Soiree VIII will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 6:30-9:30 pm at Duncan McClellan Gallery, the largest glass art gallery in Florida. The unique venue showcases an amazing collection of hand blown glass from recognized artists locally and internationally. Join us for an evening of fabulous food, craft beers, and wonderful wines all benefiting Brookwood Florida! Swanky Soirée VIII promises to be an especially exciting celebration of Brookwood’s 90th year with our new chill lounge venue in the thriving Warehouse Art District, new culinary offerings, glass blowing demonstration and raffle. Attracting sponsors and supporters, both past and present, from throughout the Bay area and beyond, this year will be an especially inspiring Swanky Soirée.

Founded in 1927, Brookwood Florida provides a unique, life-changing residential program for non-pregnant, non-addicted, at-risk girls between the ages of 13 and 20. The agency typically serves between 100 and 110 girls per year who have suffered abuse, neglect, homelessness and serious family dysfunction. Along with a safe and
nurturing environment, Brookwood provides a four-part program that includes education, job skills training, independent living preparation, and mental health counseling. The agency also offers three residential tiers with increasingly more independent living conditions to help our clients move steadily toward self- sufficiency and reintegration within the community.
